Women's Basketball: Look at This!
ESPN's top story on the Women's BB page is here:
http://espn.go.com/womens-basketball/
The 3 top recruiters are pictured: Pat Head Summitt (winningest ladies' coach in history), Geno Auriemma (longest ladies' winning streak ever), and Coach Nikki! If you click to the story, UCLA's recruiting class is ranked #3 in the country. There's a separate story with the first NC tourney Bracketology that has the Bruins as a #4 seed in the West (but with Baylor in the region); with wins like last night's maybe we can move towards a 3-seed.
It's great to see our team getting positive national press, especially this early in the season.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

This is friggin cool.
I have a student who is “totally” into women’s bball. She’s buying season tickets to the Bruin women’s game. They are hot in the bball world and it is so great. CNC is absolutely the reason.
Go Bruins!
No new rankings yet...
Rankings come out something like Sunday or Monday, because games are being played, including tonight. All of the ranked teams that played tonight won (except for #22 Michigan State, who lost to #2 Baylor). The only close one was Georgetown winning by only four at home (rallying from ten down at the half). There really isn’t much parity in women’s BB, so it’s very common to see no ranked team losing on a given night.
So when the rankings come out, #12 Notre Dame should fall a bit, and Georgetown could but probably won’t. So barring an upset(s) tomorrow, I would expect the Bruins to move up one slot to #15. This year we need to grab a win against Stanford.
pretty awesome to have a high ranking
also, notice how the rest of the California schools are in the top-8.

I know this might be a bit of an oddball question
but why couldn’t someone like Nicki be a men’s head coach?
