Anderson to play some 2 Guard?
Much of the offseason talk was centered on the competition between junior Jerime Anderson, who started half of the games at the point for the Bruins last season, and junior college transfer Lazeric Jones.
. . .
Howland also made it clear that there will be opportunities for Jones and Anderson to share the floor on certain occasions.
"I don’t know that," Howland said when asked if Jones and Anderson’s minutes will be split equally. "Like I said before, I’m sure there will be a time when they are in together. It won’t always be one of them in, one of them out necessarily."

This is something you have been pushing for a while
Would certainly give Howland some options to change up his rotation. Should be interesting if this happens.
Yeah I am probably reading too much into it
Because I am looking for it. I think Anderson may be a little like what some think of Carlino. One of the reasons he is thought of as a PG is because of his size.
If this happens often, it seems likely we are going small with less minutes for Stover and Lane. But again, he said “a time” not all the time or regularly. Need the season to start so can base comments on what is actually happening.
Honestly, what every maximizes JA's potential is ultimately good for the team.
Like many others, I don’t think JA was a D1 point guard last year. But, that doesn’t mean he can’t be or for that matter that he has to be a PG.
If CBH can harvest his 5 star rating and put it to use, that’s all good with me. I hope he does up his game to NBA quality, it can only benefit us.
The best thing you can do for your children is to love their mother. John Wooden
This could open up some minutes
to get BA (Blake Arnett) into the game, too.
We're havin' too much fun today. We ain't thinkin' 'bout tomorrow.
How about times when both are off the court?
I’m far more interested in a lineup that includes neither of those guys. Even if ML isn’t the greatest facilitator at the point, he’s still a better option than JA all things considered. I’ll be interested to see if CBH ever goes with a Lee, Lamb, Honeycutt, Nelson, Smith lineup.
CBH has made it clear that Lee is not playing PG this year
It would have to be really dire for Lee to play PG.
Anderson is gonna have to prove it this year
I’m still bitter over his awful summer and reportedly poor work habits last year… I’m rooting for him because he’s a Bruin but I won’t be a believer in his talents until he shows us something on the court this year. A lot is needed out of him this year, let’s see if he performs.
