Were this play to be ran by a college...or even high school team
they would have to name it “Dead Man Walking”. Looks like a good way to get your QB killed! Seriously awesome though.
Under HS federation and NCAA rules, you might get this play blown dead and a 15 yard penalty for interfering with the substitution process, depending on the officiating crew. Similar to this play although I’d let the above one slide but not the 2nd one as it is more blatant.
We ran this play when I was in middle school 12 years ago
It was fun, we had the QB act like it was still the kickoff ball and then he walked towards the sideline first to “switch” then just took off. Good times.
