The Denver Post is reporting that Jon Embree has been offered the head coaching job at the University of Colorado. Embree is currently the tight ends coach for the Washington Redskins. A statement on behalf of AD Mike Bohn says that Embree has not been officially offered and the search is continuing. Embree played at CU for 4 years, then coached there for 10 years after his pro career was cut short by injury. Embree then coached TE's/receivers for 4 years at UCLA before going to the KC Chiefs. Oh, and his son, Taylor, has a pretty big game this weekend.
