I am attending a signing day event at UCLA on Wednesday and I just found out that it will be broadcast live on the internet! I went to this last year and it was awesome! CRN will be there talking about each recruit and a few of them will be there. Let's hope it is one big celebration of all the signing day recruits we pull in!

Unfortunately this is a paid service, and the website has been known to have notoriously bad cameras/feeds. Still, good to know.

but I am replying to longboard. Sorry about that! I did know about the $9.95 charge but some people here may not mind doing that, especially considering how excited we all are! However, I did not know about the bad cameras/feeds.

Are you attending in person?

If so, does that require tickets or an invitation, or does one just show up at the Morgan Center?

I have donated the same amount for years and never got an invite until last year! I just thought maybe the previous coaching regime didn’t have this event. Who knows!

Hopefully we can meet up, DWD. I will be there with my mom and if they have nametags, look for Heather and Mary.

Well, it used to be associated with a bball game and mostly just a handfull of football alum.

There wasn’t any major party, just some pre-game stuff on the second floor. I didn’t stick around; I wanted to get into Pauley. Nothing like last year’s or even the year before. Now that I think about it, last year’s was the same night as a game. I remember after the party we went into Pauley and CRN officially announced hiring Carnell Lake at center court during half. Good times… He was parading Morrell Presley around like a proud papa. Then we got word about Randall Carroll signing in the middle of the party. Should be the same fun Wed. Anyway, I might lend a hand with check-in, so I’ll look for you. You’ll have to forgive me for not displaying my name, as I have a connection to the MC. We’ll take care of that on Wed. ;-)
