Today, The Cal Bar Journal - Tomorrow the fishwrap?

A little note in the California Bar Journal for February 2010 says

"California Bar Journal goes digital March 1

Beginning March 1, the State Bar newspaper will cease publication in paper format and will be replaced by an electronic version.  Bar members will receive a Calfornia Bar Journal e-mail the first of each month providing links to the latest State Bar news."

And it goes on.  For me, the bar journal ceased being readable when the great Ed Lascher died.  You have to be both a geezer and a lawyer to remember him, but he was a great writer.  I was never up against him, but I understand he was a great lawyer, too.  In any event, I have only read the bar journal since his passing to find out if I had been disbarred.

And now to the point.  If the bar urinal is going paperless, could it possibly be the start of a tidal wave of electrons?  Or even more to the point, will we have to find something else to wrap our fish in?
