If you have been following truebluebruin24, you'd know Coach Nikki Caldwell's program (17-7, 10-3) is BLUE HOT (photo credit: B D). They are coming off another a big win over Washington and are taking on the Cougars today. UCLA's 10-3 start to the conference schedule is its best in the Pac-10 since the 1998-99 team won 10 of its first 12 conference games on the way to a 15-3 finish.
Today's game is also big for another very important reason. This afternoon (4 pm PST tipoff) the Bruins, in conjunction with the Women's Basketball Coaches' Association (WBCA) and the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center, will participate in "Pink Zone" activities to help support and promote breast cancer awareness.
During the game against Washington State both teams will take part in bringing attention to breast cancer awareness. UCLA will wear special white and pink uniforms in the game.
All fans attending the contest are encouraged to wear pink. You can get full details from the official site. Good luck to our ladies.
GO BRUINS.
