Hello Kiffin, Meet Aramide Olaniyan: Another "UCLA Type Of Guy"
Here is another "UCLA type of guy" who Lane Kiffin could tell would be a Bruin in 10 minutes. Jon Gold did an interview with UCLA commit OLB Aramide Olaniyan, and I couldn't be excited to have this kid coming to UCLA. A little example:
"It's always great to not just hop up on the bandwagon but start something on the ground floor floor. You talk to Coach Neuheisel and you get that feeling that championships will be won. The reason he pulls in such a great recruiting class is he relates to us. He studied Political Science and was a lawyer, things I see myself doing after my career. A great recruiter, a great family man - my mom raves about him all the time. You don't win games with your previous records. Next year, we'll bring the Bruins back to a national level."
He and Owa are my two favorite players in this class, bar none. Olaniyan and Owa are perfect examples of what we expect from Bruin student-athletes, the types of people who would be fish out of water at that place in South Central.
Based on what we saw in their interviews, Josh Shirley, Anthony Jefferson, and Dietrich Riley seem to fit this mold as well: articulate, intelligent young adults who are going to thrive on and off the field at UCLA. I'm proud that Rick Neuheisel and his staff are bringing in men who not only are elite athletes who will help UCLA win games on Saturdays, but who also will succeed in the classroom and conduct themselves in a classy manner with great integrity.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Aramide
Is not just coming here to play ball, the kid is bleeding blue and gold. He is in love with the four letters and it is awesome to watch. I can’t wait to see him roam around and lead the defense some day.
Incidentally
I love this series of Hello Kiffen: “UCLA Type of Guy” articles that are popping up here, emphasizing the character of the young men joining my alma mater.
Go Bruins!
