Bruins Didn't Lose 2006 Emerald Bowl
Guess what? Turns out Karl Dorrell didn't lose in the Nut Bowl to a weak Florida State squad in typically Dorrellian choke-job fashion. From WWL:
"The [FSU] football team vacated five wins from the 2006 season, including the Emerald Bowl at the end of that season"

does that mean we have a loss taken away
but no win awarded? That’s just… great.
If that means that "Seminole Country" didn't play at the Nut Bowl Halftime show...
Sounds good to me.

That's Karl for you!
Sure he didn’t actually win the game or anything, but it’s now a notch to put up on the ol’ Dorellista belt.
Hey
Karl played not to lose and that’s exactly what happened!1

Can I put in for my airline ticket and my game ticket?
Or, the therapy I had to undergo to try and figure out what made me believe that “our work in progress” had “turned the corner” and that we would all be “sleeping well” after the game?

sorry to burst your bubble...
but according to the Tallahassee Democrat, "FSU’s wins were vacated, not forfeited, and will still count as losses on the records of the teams the ’Noles defeated. "
Not that it matters, but we still lost the 2006 Emerald Bowl.
