Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

That is the scoop according to a poster with the username dshasiak on BruinReportOnline.com's premium forum. We have good reasons to believe dshasiak is none other than Stan's Dad. The post entitled, "stan is officially reinstated as of today," has been pinned at the top of BRO. We haven't gotten any confirmation from Morgan Center.

If this news is true, it would be great news. Just a month ago Chris Foster (LAT) tweeted about Hasiak transferring out of UCLA. Whatever is the ultimate outcome in this story here is to a happy ending for all parties involved.

Great news if true!

As of 10pm PST no confirmation from Gold or the LATimes.

I hope whatever troubled him in the past is behind him and that he has a successful remaining 3 years as a Bruin.

Hope something official comes out because we will definitely need him this upcoming season and beyond.

cool

Despite being from the notorious fishwrap, it is more of a credible source than just a forum post.

I don’t know what to expect of Stan Hasiak. As a rabid fan (like the rest of us here), I’m itching to know what is so detrimental about his behavior/situation. But at the same time, I think it’s the right thing for the coaches and athletic department to keep the specifics private.

I just hope he’s found his peace and can refocus productively on life, class, and football (in that order). Best of luck, kid.

or

get a talking-to from Jonathan Ogden. Who still probably towers over him.

Come on Stan, do the right thing! We need ya and you won’t regret it!

But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
