Everyone should be rocking their UCLA gear this week
Everyone should be rocking their UCLA gear this week and in the coming weeks. It's easy to bust out the four letters when we are in the Dance and making charges to the Final-4. Now is the time to really do it and play up your Bruin colors. I will be rocking my UCLA gear/colors (business or casual) while drowning out all the chatter about madness in the background next few days/weeks. GO BRUINS.

hell yes
I just got to DC (visiting a friend at Gtown), and I walked through their campus this morning rocking my UCLA adidas backpack, duffle bag, gold shorts, and zip up sweatshirt. It felt fantastic.
I bust out the four letters
all the time. Even though it’s tournament time and our men’s basketball team was nowhere near qualified to participate, few if any of the 64 colleges/universities participating (or anyone else!) have the combination of academic and overall athletic success that UCLA has and has always had. I proudly wear my UCLA gear here in the land of the Jayhawks.
Hear, Hear
If ever there is a time to “gear up,” this is it. Our baseball team is kicking a**, our women’s basketball team is in the Dance, our football program is on its way back to glory, our women’s gymnastics team ranked third in the nation, we own 104 national titles, we are a consistent academic powerhouse, and we are UCLA, always.
KSBruin, I also proudly wear various UCLA attire year-round in Jayhawk land. It’s on my car, too, just in case the cartoon bird fans miss seeing me. I get some flak, but not too much, honestly. (I’ve gotten some real harassment from a few Mizzou fans, but I don’t take them very seriously, anyway.) How about you?

"Cartoon bird"
Nice.
My parents went to Mizzou. I wonder why any Tiger fans would be bothered about UCLA?

lol, Oh, Who Knows, Really...
…some guy named Tyus in ’95, maybe? ;-)
Honestly, I just think they’ve lived under the shadow of KU in basketball for so long, any school with a real basketball pedigree just makes them mad. One alum told me one time that they just cannot stand it that they’ve never won the championship. (They have one national championship, in track, I think.)
They really hate us, though, at least the ones at the CBE Tourney did, when we played there a couple of years back. A few were so hostile to me that my husband got a bit concerned. (I was wearing a lot of Bruin swag.) “Fans” like that leave a lasting impression, unfortunately for their school. (I did tell one that he wasn’t fooling anybody, I could tell he hadn’t actually gone to school at Mizzou, just bought a t-shirt at the gas station where he worked. That was petty, I know, but he was waaaaaaay over the line, ok?)
In all fairness, there was an older couple sitting near us, wearing Tigers gear, and they were very gracious and nice—clearly embarassed by the mob behind us.

Proudly rocking the 4 letters
here in Wildcat territory in Tucson. I get a lot of strange looks and the occasional stupid comment, but I’m used to it being in the milllitary we are a very diverse bunch from all over the country. With spring training going on I am constantly switching from my Halos to my Bruins gear. Can’t wait till our Baseball team gets to Tucson next month to hear them when I walk into Sancet stadium all geared up.
I never stop sporting my gear.
Even when wearing something under something else, I fly my colors some how some way.
The best thing you can do for your children is to love their mother. John Wooden
I had a tough decision this morning
Do I wear the UCLA shorts or UCLA t-shirt? I went with both.

I won't have that choice tomorrow
It’s supposed to snow 10 inches.
But I have plenty of UCLA sweats…

I'm in Sebring, Florida for a big car race
And yes I’m rocking my UCLA gear. It is Gator nation down here but it feels good to wear my UCLA loud and proud.
I wore my Cade jersey all day.
One friend/parent at the kids’ school noticed it and reminded me that UCLA wasn’t playing in the tourney.
I politely replied, “So?”

You guys probably heard this one....
I think I told you about the time my son wore his Indiana U Basketball shirt to work at Bruins Camp. CBH went nuts! Not a good idea.
I may work with the Waves, but I'm still a Bruin!
