Former Bruin All American & NFL Pro Bowler - Donnie Edwards - talks with high school players about the importance of education. Attendees included current Bruin Morrell Presley. Donnie graduated early and got his masters at UCLA. I had him in two of my Poli. Sci. courses and I never saw him miss one class.
BTW Donnie Edwards was suspended for one game because the all mighty NCAA wanted him penalized as someone left $150 worth of groceries at his door step.

Good advice
I wish everyone would take it seriously. I’m sure it’s an incredibly difficult task to balance both football and school… but it can be done. I have a class with about 20 football players this term (including Presley), and a good amount show up 20 minutes late and only stay for a bit. Still… I notice that alot of them do work hard (Chane Moline is a great example), and it’s clear that our athletes are much more focused on academics than a certain other school in LA…
:D
Loved him in Blue & Gold. Marvin Goodwin was another one of my favorites on the team. Wonder what he is up to.
