Baseball Goes For School Record 15th Straight Game Thread
Going out on a limb here. I doubt UCLA matches the dominance in yesterday's 20-4 win over Oral Roberts. How about 19-4 instead? Whatever the final score, if UCLA can take down the Golden Eagles today, they will set a new school record with 15 consecutive games won. With that on the line and an undefeated record that only Arizona St. can match, it will be a fun one that gets underway at 2 pm PST at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
A day after the Golden Eagles got to face Gerrit Cole, they get Trevor Bauer. For all the talk about Cole's dominance this year (he entered the weekend second in the country in strikeouts), Bauer has been on fire too, striking out just two fewer batters coming into this weekend in one less start. He may throw on Saturdays, but you might as well call Bauer "ace" too. He carries a 3-0 record and 2.38 ERA into today's contest with over 15 strikeouts per nine innings.
All the fun gets underway at 2 pm PST as the Bruins wind down non-conference play and prep for the all-important Pac-10 season. You can follow along with the game on GameTracker (link included) or you can listen live from the official site with John Ramey and color men, Danny Rees and Nick Theodorou. You can also grab updates from my UCLA baseball twitter. If you following along via any of the three ways listed, please use this thread to keep everyone apprised of what's going on in the game while chiming in with any thoughts, questions and opinions you have. The thread is all yours.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Tied it up
Didn’t take long for ORU to tie it. A walk, sac bunt, wild pitch & ground out scores a run to even the game at 1 apiece in the 3rd.
