Bumped for another reminder. -N
Bumping this up as another reminder heading into last week of Spring Ball. Also don't forget Tuesday is the last opportunity to make it a doubleheader UCLA sports day (football/baseball) out in Westwood. GO BRUINS. -N

So we heard some concern that there was "no information" concerning the spring game at the Rose Bowl on the official site. Well this is why we often suggest that you all really click through the links. I hadn't really looked for the info because ... well ... I am not going to be able to make it to the game. Yet it turns out that the information is available on the official website and placed fairly prominently. From the link provided in a previous post (emphasis added):
The annual Spring Game, presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California, will be held on Saturday, April 24 at 7:00 pm at the Rose Bowl. Admission is free. For more information regarding the schedule of activities surrounding the Spring Game, click here.
Voila. You click and you get to a page entitled "Battle At The Rose Bowl." Here is the Time Line provided in that page:
| 3:00pm-7:00pm | Tailgating/Parking Opens (Lots: B, D, F, H, I, K) |
| 4:00pm-7:00pm | Area H Fan Zone Opens |
| 6:00pm | Gates A & F Opens |
| Team warm-ups begin | |
| 7:00pm | Spring Game Begins |
| Post-Game | "Meet the Bruins" |
Details after the jump.
Festivities that day include but are not limited to:
Lady Bruins Football 101: Lady Bruins are invited to the third annual Lady Bruins Football 101 prior to the 2010 Spring Game presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California at the Rose Bowl. Participants meet with UCLA Head Coach Rick Neuheisel, Offensive Coordinator Norm Chow and Defensive Coordinator Chuck Bullough for a class on the strategies of the game and an on-field demonstration...so bring your tennis shoes ladies!
The Automobile Club of Southern California Locker Room Tour: All Auto Club members are invited an excusive Locker Room Tour (visiting locker room) before the game. First tour begins at 6:00 pm sharp and second tour begins at 6:20 pm. There is limited space for each tour, so come early! Participants will also receive a free AAA/UCLA t-shirt (while supplies last). Please show your membership card at the Auto Club Booth in Tunnel 23A (two patrons admitted per Auto Club membership) for admission.
Area H Fan Zone: Before the game, fans can enjoy food vendors such as Carl's Jr., the UCLA Store selling your favorite Bruin merchandise and activities for the whole family.
Roster Card Giveaway: Get your free updated 2010 Spring Roster at Gate A.
2010 UCLA Football Ticket Sales: Place an order for a pair of new 2010 UCLA Football season tickets at the Spring Game presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California. You'll also be eligible to win one pair of complimentary pre-game sideline passes for the 2010 home opener.
BTW for those interested (few have asked already) go over here to register for Lady Bruins Football 101.
Also, after the game fans can take to the field to get autographs and photographs (cameras not provided) with your favorite players. Once again all info available over here and it is also linked up pretty prominently on the left hand side of the official site's football page. Hopefully it will be linked up on the home page very very soon.
Again, for those who are going to this (including the Lady Bruins!), please consider sharing your experience with pictures, posts, and videos right here on BN.
GO BRUINS.
This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

My wife and her sister did it last year, and they loved it
They had a great time seeing the locker room, being on the field, getting their picture taken with Chow and Neu, and learning a little football. I’m sure they also liked it because they got a break from the kids. Anyways, my wife liked it so much that she’s doing it again this year and got some friends to do it with her.
While she was doing that, I took the kids to the kids area, where they could ride some electric cars and do other fun stuff. The best for me was being able to meet some of the players, such as Reggie Carter and Terrence Austin.
I’m hoping we have as positive an experience this year as we had last year.
