ESPN Trots Out A Trojan Hack & Tonedeaf Columnist To Comment On Mike Garrett's Athletic Dept.

Well looky here. ESPN apparently did a follow-up on its not so original Mike Garrett story. To do so it trotted out a Trojan shill and a clueless columnist from the local media: Adam Rose and Jill Painter.

Just what kind of Trojan shill is Adam Rose:

What was a total joke that the LAT decided to put this clown in charge of editing "What's Bruin." It was an EPIC FAIL as that "blog" eventually folded because all the readers saw right through his Trojan hackery. He is now the "Associate Editor" for Huffington Post sports? ROFL.

Anyway tWWL trotted out this clown out to offer observations on Mike Garrett and Southern Cal's NCAA troubles. What happened? ESPN couldn't get a hold of the Trojan SID to get the talking points? They could have dialed up any of their "sources" from Heritage Hall reiterating the Trojan spin that all of their problems was around Timmeh's basketball program while the football program as Splashme once declared "follows the rules."

Also, nice touch by tWWL of bringing in Jill Painter. LOL.  After all it's the same Jill Painter who once wrote "Pete Carroll is everything that's right about college football."  What happened? ESPN couldn't locate Schilly Smith?

You wonder why Bruin fans don't take that network all that seriously especially when it comes to matters concerning Southern Cal.

GO BRUINS.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of BruinsNation's (BN) editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of BN's editors.

Adam Rose lost all credibility

when he decided to have two bios. Remember how on the trOJan blog he talked up being a trOJan alum and what a big SUC fan he was and on the Bruin blog he talked about growing up a fan of both programs, and didn’t mention where he went to school?

It was pretty pathetic.

tWWL

is going out of its way to save U$C*’s image after opening their ESPN LA office.

If they were smart, they would rally behind UCLA (not that we need their approval). I don’t think there is a program in the country as universally hated as U$C* by non-Trogans and I really don’t think they have the appeal that ESPN thinks they have. The problem is all the Trogans who work for Disney…

But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
