The Prince saw his first taste of playoff action on Saturday, and he earned praise from the commentators for his defense on a particularly impressive defensive stand where he displayed his unreal lateral quickness. His team, however, had a disastrous first half, and the Bucks never really challenged the Hawks in Game 1. Along with his defensive effort, Luc picked up 8 points on 4-5 shooting, 6 rebounds, and a steal in 31 minutes.

I still remember
a play from a few years back where Luc got caught on a switch. He ended up guarding UW point Justin Dentmon on the perimeter and Dentmon immediately tried to break him down off the dribble. After a couple futile crossovers, Dentmon realized that he wasn’t going anywhere. It was right then that I knew Luc could be a defensive stopper in the league. That being said, I still get that “don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone feeling” everytime I think about that kid.
I think we all knew
what we had in LRMAM. I’m just left thinking what would have been if he had stayed for his senior year (and possibly snuck into the first round of the draft).
But hey, what do I know. Iām just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
Played some offense too :o
He had a sick AND 1 when he was thrown to the ground and just threw the ball at the basket.
