Defensive line: Brian Price, UCLA
It's a down year for bookend pass-rushers in this draft, but there's a glut of disruptive defensive tackles, which may explain why Price, a two-time All-Pac-10 honoree, is getting lost in the shuffle. Price was one of the few reasons to watch a UCLA game the past couple of years. He posted a ridiculous 23.5 tackles for loss last season, and that doesn't count all the times you'd see him closing in on a quarterback just as he released. Once you concede that Ndamukong Suh and Gerald McCoy are in a whole other stratosphere athletically, I'd argue Price is as good as any of the other guys at his position -- and it's a pretty important position -- which might merit a second-round pick.

But my question is about:

“which might merit a second-round pick.”

Really? Maybe the 2nd round now?! Are you kidding me?!

In this week's issue of SI

they had Kyle Bosworth as an intriguing sleeper

BP

will have the same impact as Elvis Dumerville, if not bigger. Underrated because he is “not big enough” but highly effective. He will make his mark on whichever team he goes on.

Whoever thinks BP is not big enough should line up in front of him just once. It’s funny, the guys he beat in college don’t seem to be considered “not strong enough”…

But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.

Most Dominant Defensive Player I Have Seen At UCLA

BP consistently disrupted the opponent’s offense, and was virtually unstoppable. The opponent had to account for him on every play. I am surprised that he is not projected to go higher in the draft, and anticipate that he will be a great pro for the team lucky enough to select him.

i think that this statement from

bleacher report sums it up

Despite the lack of buzz in articles online regarding Price, he could very well be a heck of a lineman in the NFL due to his ability to disrupt, his quickness, and his strength. He will make one lucky NFL team very happy when they call out Price’s name sometime on draft day.

i would say very very happy! Good luck BP
