Softball Receives #5 National Seed
The Bruins will kick off the 2010 post-season this Friday as they host St. Mary's at 3:30PM. Also in the regional are Fresno State and San Diego State.

We’ve been ranked somewhere around 5th for nearly the entire season, and the latest NCAA RPI has us at number 6. I thought our series win over #3 Arizona this past weekend maybe could have lifted us to the 4 seed, but 5 is not surprising at all. I like our draw in the regional. Fresno and SDSU are always tough but I think if we play the way we have over the last month we should be able to get through.
