Our softball team had a great night yesterday at Easton getting off to a solid start in their super regional action against the Louisiana-Lafayette. 5th seeded Bruins came back from an early deficit for the third straight game. Jr GiOnna DiSalvatore and soph. Samantha Camuso each had 3 hits, 3 RBIs and a homer in Bruins’ 10-2, five-inning victory over the Ragin’ Cajuns. Bruins improve to 44-11 and tie a single-season school record with their 19th mercy-rule win of the year. The Ragin' Cajuns fall to 45-17. Full details here.
