Galaxy rookie midfielder Michael Stephens, from UCLA, volleys home his first MLS goal against the Columbus Crew. After beating the Crew 2-0 (insurance goal from Tristan Bowen), the Galaxy are the only undefeated team in MLS. Stephens is getting a lot of buzz and is the favorite to win Rookie of the Year.

With Landon Donovan out for World Cup action
this is really going to be Stephens opportunity to step up and be the man in midfield.
