Guess we are going to ride the new found mojo in our baseball threading around this weekend's games against Washington Huskies. Perhaps it's the coffee but whatever it is the Bruin bats are all on a sudden a little awake in Seattle. Let's hope the Justin Uribe and his team mates (33-10, 9-8) can stay on their hot streak by closing out the series with a big win against the Huskies (25-21, 8-9).

Gerrit Cole found his rhythm on Friday night. Bauer joined Cole back in the winner's column last night (although I am sure he wishes his performance was a little sharper as it sounds like he might have tired at the end).  Still Bauer managed to improve his career record to 16-6 and become the first UCLA pitcher to collect 16 career victories since Tyson Brummett went 16-13 in two seasons (2006-07). This afternoon it will be Rob Rasmussen's turn who will try to bounce back from his rough outing against the Sun Devils last weekend.

The first pitch is scheduled for this afternoon at 1 pm PST. As always you can follow along with GameTracker or get updates on Ryan's UCLA baseball twitter. Let's hope we can keep the mojo going this weekend. Fill this one up with updates, thoughts, analysis and anything else.

GO BRUINS.
