St. John is the same “global brand” as UCLA?

I would be surprised if hasn't improved as a coach.

but I seriously doubt he’ll turn St. John’s into a power or even a tournament fixture.

He sounds like the same old snake oil salesman

Is he even confused that he is still at UCLA? Notice the use of St. John’s and we:

“St. John’s and UCLA are very similar. Both schools have a global brand,” he said. "St. John’s has a school in Paris. We have a school in Rome.

Lavin, you are not part of UCLA!

No matter how well he does at St. John's

I will still mock what he did at UCLA. Forever.

And that is the bottom line.

But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.

Actually tasser, he just happened to be at the right place, at the right time

to be appointed coach at Pauley by Dalis & Young. What made these two individuals consider Harrick’s infractions on the same par as Watergate’s coverup, something they alluded to at their joint press conference, is still beyond me.

I heard others said Dalis was never enamored, nor comfortable with Harrick’s rather “hick” mannerism. Reportedly, the latter once urinated on the spot at the Bel Aire Country Club while golfing. Fine. If this wasn’t hearsay, it was unseemly behavior, conduct unbecoming for anybody, let alone UCLA’s championship winning coach. But then if this became part of the rationale to sack him when an excuse occured, this would make University of Louisville the utmost magnanimous institution of higher learning anywhere for tolerating its coach, supposedly a role model for the players and the athletic department he serves, nonchalantly copulating with a woman on a dinner table at the back of the restaurant.

So if Rick Pitino happemed to be at UCLA and he did it at Spago’s, I can’t imagine what Dalis’ response would be.

Lavin just made good use of the chance he never imagined would have fallen on his laps just – like – that !
