Didn't see a gameday thread, so thought I'd put something up.
UCLA is the away team as the #5 seed vs #4 Florida. In the top of the first, Florida's pitcher has been called for 2 illegal pitches already which has turned what could have been an inning over into a 3-0 lead for UCLA.
With 2 runners on, Andrea Harrison Hit a 3 run shot to give UCLA a 3-0 lead. Going to the bottom of the first, UCLA is up 3-0.

Does an illegal pitch count as a walk on women's softball?
In other words, is it simply a ball (like in rec league softball) or is the batter awarded first base?

Who had 4 illegal pitches, and now Florida’s new pitcher has 2 illegal pitches in a row. This is crazy for the WCWS

YET ANOTHER ILLEGAL PITCH
Yudin scores, Camuso to 3rd, 3-0 count to Burney. This doesn’t seem like something that should happen so many times in the WCWS, i’ve never seen an illegal pitch called on UCLA this season.

Catch at the wall
prevents a 3 run shot, instead the top of the inning is over with a 6-3 UCLA lead

UCLA was also called for a 10 second violation
something i’ve never seen before, in the 1st UCLA’s batter was out of the batting box for more than 10 seconds and was called out

As the announcer just said “when it rains, it pours”, an embarrassing number of miscues in the WCWS for the gators

AND IT'S OVER
UCLA gets revenge for Florida knocking us out in 2008, wins 16-3. Will play tomorrow against Hawaii in the winners bracket

Obviously. Win tomorrow, and the Bruins would only need to win one more to get to the finals. Lose tomorrow, and the Bruins would need to win 3 straight games to get to the finals.
