We usually get ours on Thursdays
Mr. BB doesn’t read it anymore, and keeps forgetting to cancel the subscription. I’ll look through it once, but that’s it. This issue will be kept someplace safe.

Oh. Wow.
This would make an amazing poster.

Thx Achilles.
Now somebody help me understand how adding frame increases the price by $70. Think I’ll frame mine by myself.

I get my subscription copies on Wednesdays
Assuming it’ll hit newsstands Weds or Thurs.
I’m probably going to buy at least a dozen of these.
Wonderful
Almost has a Norman Rockwellesque simplicity to it. No, has a Norman Rockwell greatness to it. Actually, it has the complexity of all great art; which it is.
That picture needs to be
a permanent fixture on BN.
Here's an excerpt from the column in the magazine
"Right from its beginnings on a farm in rural Indiana with a three-hole outhouse out back, the path of Wooden’s life alighted on touchstone after touchstone of Americana. He learned to shoot at a hoop his father had forged of iron. He gained confidence in a speech class at Martinsville High that his sweetheart (Nellie, of course) urged him to take…. When he took a job at South Bend Central High in 1934, he regarded coaching duties as secondary to teaching English. Wooden regarded the classroom and the gym as serving essentially the same purpose. Explanation, demonstration, correction and repetition—his notion of pedagogy lent itself equally well to English grammar and fundamental basketball."

The rest of the article
was less than compelling.
Is this a regional issue?
I just went by my major bookstore and the June 7th copy of SI has a USA soccer cover.
greg in denver - UCLA guy for life
Never mind
that was last issue’s cover. I’ll check back tomorrow for it.

The World Cup ...
got two SI covers in a row, I think.
It will be back to World Cup next week, unless the Lakers or Celtics gets it.
Or Stephen Strasburg.
The one before had Rondo on it
I was seriously considering tearing it into pieces.
RESCUING DANCE MUSIC FROM THE BLAHS

![[Turn down your volume before watching!]
As seen from the crowd, the last two minutes of UCLA vs. Arizona. Hopefully gives those who were not able to attend an idea of what it was like inside "Old" Pauley for the last time.](http://cdn2.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/180811/0_small.jpg)
