Trogans Admit Guilt By Letting Go Of Their Dog Fighter (McNair)
This has been fanshotted already (where discussion has been going on) but worth highlighting on the main page. Gary Klein, the Trojan stenographer from the LA Times cut and pastes:
Todd McNair, who was USC’s running backs coach for the last six seasons and a key figure in the the NCAA’s investigation of the school’s athletic department, is no longer part of the staff.
"Todd McNair’s contract expired on June 30, 2010," Coach Lane Kiffin said. "We have no additional comment."
McNair has not been in USC’s coaching offices since the NCAA handed down sanctions against USC that include four years’ probation, a two-year bowl ban and the loss of 30 scholarships over three years.
Uh yeah, okay Kiffin. Whatever you say. Does anyone really believe these sleazebags about the Dog Fighter not hanging around "USC's coaching offices" since NCAA handed down the sanctions?
Also note, Hello Kiffin doesn't really say that he has been let go from the program just that his contract expired. That leads to the question is what is the status of his official relationship with the program. Is he still a part of it? There are number of other unresolved issues and unanswered questions.
If there were actual reporting going on among "journalists" following this story (not stenographers who cut and paste Trojan spin including advancing baseless attacks on Coach), they would look into the kind of "severance package" that might have been issued to the Dog Fighter.
If the Trogans really believe their own BS in the "appeal" they just submitted, why was McNair let go just now? If he didn't do anything wrong he should have stayed on their stained coaching staff. No? I mean, we all know about this guy's "recruiting ability" Trogan style. He was the lead guy who brought in DeAnthony Thomas. So why was he let go? If this is not admission of guilt, exactly what is?
GO BRUINS.

Nestor, so cynical
He just wants to spend more time with his family. Or, he’s going to pursue other interests. Or whatever the other usual excuses are.
Actually, it’s interesting that they didn’t fire him for cause, just didn’t re-hire him. That’s actually pretty smart. I’m surprised that a trogan would come up with a thought like that.
i believe the preferred lingo
…Is that he just lost his passion for cheating, er, “coaching.”. At least that’s what Timmeh told me.

I'm sure there is a confidentiality agreement involved.
Coach Dogkiller probably got a nice little check, and I doubt he will be heard from again.

Boy that was easy...
…your contract expired and we’re not renewing your contract.
South Central Press Release:
“It was just a contractal expiration, nothing personal, nothing NCAA sanction-oriented. We’re all good!”
In response to the McNair story,
Chris Foster of the LA Times Posted on his Twit account;
As SUC clearly showed preemptive action by vigorously allowing Todd McNairs’ contract to expire, UCLA should take the same aggressive action by immediately terminating Offensive Co-ordinator Norm Chow because, being from Hawaii, he probably doesn’t have a birth certificate, which would indicate he participated in recruiting at UCLA without constitutional authority to do so. After all, it’s one thing to merely break the rules, and another to violate the recruiting rules as set forth in the Constitution of the United States, China.
Opinion Poll: Please vote for the most likely scenario:
1. Todd McNair was fired because of his involement and knowledge of NCAA violations
committed by Reggie Bush.
2. Todd McNair was let go in an attempt by USC to show the NCAA that they are finally
taking corrective measures to “clean house” in hopes of having the sanctions reduced.
3. Todd McNair was asked to quietly go away and in return for his silence he will be on some
rich USC alum’s payroll for a very long time because he’s always going to be part of the
Trogan Family.
Oh! I know! I know!! Pick me, pick me!!! (pushing on elbow to hold hand up higher...)

Check out the hand on McNair’s shoulder….

The AD is next!
I am guessing but this looks like phase 2 of the limited hangout strategy. Rather than go the full hangout (tell the truth for a change), the southern cal strategy sachems (political leaders; officers in the corrupt Tameny organization) have decided to go with the limited hangout. Phase 1 of the limited hangout strategem was the meritless appeal which now admits things went wrong, but by gosh, we are cleaning house so make this a one year bowl ban and we can call it square. Phase 3 will be Garrett retiring to spend more time with his family. This will be the alleged new evidence but it will not be presented as new evidence; rather the appeals panel will just be notified these changes have been made.
The problem—the appeals panel is made up of people who have attended real colleges and universities and received degrees who can read, write and think. They will see it for what it is.
