Gah, Another Ragovic?
This is a scary report from the LA Times:
Danilo Dragovic, the younger brother of former UCLA basketball player Nikola Dragovic, has enrolled at North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake and begun to play for the Wolverines this summer.
The 6-foot-5 Dragovic attended Santa Barbara San Marcos High last season while living with a guardian but did not play because of CIF transfer restrictions. It remains to be seen whether Dragovic, a native of Serbia with outstanding academics, will be classified as a junior or senior, according to Coach Greg Hilliard.
"There is a huge list of things they have to do to be eligible," Hilliard said.
If he is eligible, Dragovic could be a major contributor. He's a top outside shooter.
"He's pretty good," Hilliard said.
I wish the young man luck but needless to say hope the UCLA coaches don't get any cute thoughts in their heads over this story.
GO BRUINS.

Oh no, heaven forbids.......
I can’t, really can’t stomach another one of those.
No matter how the high school coach thinks, he ain’t no O’Bannon brothers, nor Tracy & Cameron Murray either. I know Cameron chose not to come because of some gripe against UCLA. Then there is the Prince siblings too. The older one, whose name escapes me, almost came. The younger one Tayshaun Prince. He is a dynamite with Detroit Pistons, plus a championship ring on his finger too.
Would this dude you talked about come close to anyone of the above ? Case closed.
Maybe he is different.
To jump to the conclusion that Danilo is the same as Nikola would be a mistake. Trust me I’m with N when I hear the name Dragovic, but you never know. Danilo might bring honor to the Dragovic name.
I see UCSB in his future
Like Mbah a Moute’s brother
If he comes to UCLA
I will be CONVINCED that the Dragovic family has some sort of mob ties and are threating CBH’s life.
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
Or with people
who can’t spell “threatening”.

Nestor, you're missing the point
He would absolutely fill a need for us. We need his outside shot to help open up opportunities for our other players – and, if he gets hot from outside the arc, he could help us win a few games we otherwise wouldn’t win. No mention of his defense in the article, but I’m sure that won’t be a problem. Any chance we can get him to skip his junior/senior year in HS and jump into our starting lineup? I feel like Lane could do with another year coming off the bench to develop (he still looks lost on occasion, and isn’t fully healthy).
Come on
Be Nice. Remember Dragovic is a BRUIN and deserves credit for that. Remember Coach Wooden said to keep an open mind and let’s wish him success. We want him to succeed and his brother, too!
