Marcia Smith of the OC Register puts Cheaty in his place.
"Most troubling, Carroll writes on pages 128-129 about being able to "glean a wealth of information by paying close attention to the actions, mannerisms, and traits of our players. By taking note of the clothes they wear, the hairstyles they choose, their personal interests, and the people they choose to hang out with, we get mountains of information ... to create a profile that would accurately direct our efforts to teach each player successfully."
And:
"Beyond that, it's 228 pages of hypocrisy, philosophical sports clichés and ripoffs of the teachings of late and legendary UCLA basketball coach.
He's practically stealing with his optimal-performance, competition-driven philosophy in his "Win Forever Pyramid" (Page 79) based on practice and maximizing potential."
There's more.

Marcia is a female Bill Plaschke
You can look her up through our archives. She is dumber than an airhead.
She admits in her article that she was a moron for pushing the line Trogans were a “model college football program.”
Guess this is a case of a broken clock being right. That’s about it.
"moron for pushing the line Trogans were a "model college football program."
Yeah, I saw that. Hey, it just goes to show that even an airhead is able to see through Cheatie’s BS. It’s like all of these people have been in a funk for years and now the fog is lifting. Cheatie’s spell has been broken.

That is true
She definitely serves the examples that its beyond tipping point for them. The whole world including some of the loyal cut and pasters from all these years think they are bunch of cheating frauds. Only the delusionals and probably some of the corporate schills on ESPN think they are a legit college football program.
But where were they when the cheating was going on under Cheatie Petie's watch?
They were right there, looking right at it, but saying nothing about it. I am very tired of writers who check first to see whether reporting the facts is going to be OK with the folks at inheritance hall.
You do have a point there.
If enough people are doing it, then it must be OK.

The part about paraphrasing Coach's 3 basic rules
makes me sick. I didn’t think cheat carroll could disgust me anymore than he already has.
