Cheatey Petey ruins NPR

I was listening to NPR’s Wait Wait show (which those who are not familiar with is basically the Daily Show of radio in a quiz format) this am while browsing around for Bruin news. Unfortunately for me, the show is unbearable this morning, as none other than Cheatey Petey is the main guest. It is pretty clear the show hosts haven’t done any research and don’t have any clue about Petey’s cheating ways as they are bending over backwards and tossing him softballs. They had no idea how Pom Pom have become a joke in the sports world for his pathological lying. Guess from now on Petey will only hide in this kind of shows where the hosts don’t have any clue about football or desire to ask hard questions (which will keep ESPN and the LA Times always available as reliable standbys).
