State Of Denial: Reggie's Feelings Are Hurt

Reggie Bush finally admitted that USC hurt his feelings by distancing the university from the most corrupt and tarnished player in recent history:
"I think I'd be lying if I said it didn't," Bush said. "Obviously, it does, but at the end of the day it is what it is. All I can really do now is focus on the New Orleans Saints and just try to move on. It bothers me and it sucks. The whole situation is terrible and nobody feels worse about it than I do.
I would have much more respect for Reggie (and actually forgive him) if he did the following:
(1) confessed that he took all the money and gifts;
(2) clearly stated that he should not have taken the money and gifts;
(3) confessed that Cheaty Carroll knew all along that he was getting paid;
(4) returned his Heisman Trophy to the Heisman Trust and asked for repentence for tarnishing the award and all of college football; and
(5) returned to USC as a student to complete his degree. (hey - if Maurice Clarett can do it after getting out of jail, what the heck?).

I saw that article
I was amazed at how much he said “I” in the article. Speaks volumes about why he can’t see his part. Too much entitlement.
I would add
He should give a full account at what was taking place at Southern Cal (involving other players as well) as best as he can.

I agree with all you say concerning the actions Kardashian-Bush ‘should’ consider if he truly had a redemptive mindset…
…but alas, you’re requesting a former member of the University of Sociopathy and Cheaters football team to have any sense of self-awareness and willingness to supress his ego.
Nope, ain’t going to happen. So don’t drive yourself crazy (expecting different outcomes from their unending predictable behavior).

Isn’ a U$C degree the kind of thing you can earn while in jail?
What sort of "work experience credit" would they get?
1) Shiv making 101
2) Sociology of Prison Gangs
3) Cigarette-based economics
4) Effective Parole Hearing Strategies
Also, U$C should open a chapter of the Fraternity: Poppa Kappa Nu.

"Nobody feels worse about "it" than I do"
What “it” is Reggie referring to that he feels so bad about?
The fact that he and his family accepted benefits?
Or the fact that he got caught doing so?
Maybe I am just cynical, but I do not think that he felt the least bit bad about “it” until he got caught, and his reputation went into the tank.
If he actually felt bad about what he had done, he would have admitted to it years ago, instead of claiming all this time that he and his family had done nothing wrong.
