Solid Datone Jones interview by Jon Gold. Datone is hanging in there getting all the support he needs from his team-mates. He sounds like he is going to be smart about coming back by not rushing back, yet he is determined to come back stronger and smarter.
Interestingly Datone mentioned that his doctor gave a time frame of "5-6 weeks." It's encouraging but still we need to make sure he doesn't rush back and in way jeopardize the potential of a great future in the NFL.
Oh and he laughed off the idea of blaming the turf or his shoes. Great work by Gold.

I like
Gold’s rapport with the players. He seems to have an easy going style that keeps the players relaxed.
What I appreciate
That he is clearly making an effort to get the info. without pushing an agenda or toxifying his reporting with needless cynicism.
He still has ways to emerge as a polished reporter/writer but the effort certainly has to be appreciated.
