That's a shot of Nelson Rosario celebrating a TD with his team-mates at Saturday's scrimmage. Lot's more cool pics like that in uclafan11's photo gallery here.

Also up on flickr bruin805 has a beautiful photo gallery from Saturday's festivities here. Check them all out. Many thanks to them and others for bringing us pictures and notes from Saturday's scrimmage.

Great photos

I was also glad to see some shots of the back-to-back kickoff returns that opened the scrimmage. Hadn’t seen that before in any of the write ups. I’m not sure if there was a no tackling rule on kickoffs like there was on some of the punts. but I am excited about both Thigpen and Smith back there. Kind of wondering about the kick coverage team though, if indeed they did blow two consecutive returns.

Drake Stadium

Sort of makes you wish they had converted Drake to a football stadium in 1939 or so. The atmosphere in Westwood would be awesome in the fall with on campus picpicking. Sort of NotreDame-esque.

Photos & Drake....

Great photos from both Nestor and Bruin805. It’s nice to see the otherside of the field. I took a few snaps (well more than a few) over from the stands ( http://www.powderkegblue.com/gobruins/thumbnails.php?album=4 )

Not nearly as good a perspective as Bruin805, but at least that’s the way it look from Row 12 in Drake. I did have a better view of the band (sorry, no cheerleaders were present).

Thanks Hiero

One important note. I didn’t take the photos. Credit all goes to ‘uclafans11’ and ‘bruin805.’ Thanks so much for sharing your shots. You should think about fanshotting or fanposting them so that more BNers can get a look. Thanks again.

Nestor --

Thanks for the Clarification and thanks to uclafans11 and bruin805 for their great photos. Someday, I’ll learn about the fanposting and fanshotting stuff. At one point I had something close to 20,000 pictures primarily from UCLA football related events, pregrame parties/tailgates and games up on my website and then in November of last year the database crashed and all has to be re-uploaded and organized. Once that is done, I’ll start trying to figure out new stuff like fanposting and fanspotting.
