Bummer
I wish they were coming to DC. We have so many alums here. Oh well. Sounds like a great event. Thanks for letting us know free.

I was at a training for UCLA College Fairs
As we introduced ourselves, we recalled our favorite memories from UCLA. A lot of the alums from the 70’s talked about the Big Redhead, John Wooden, and always winning in basketball. It sounded blissful.
<— Lavin era grad.
Hey
Lot of us also love talking about Ed O, Tyus and winning it all! (along with 3 Pac-10 titles). It was blissful. Why do you think I still like writing about UCLA. :-)
I was 8-0 against U$C
the 8 years I lived in LA. Then I moved to NY and the shit hit the fan.
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
the last couple of years
were seriously draining in terms of football and hoops. You’d figure at least one of those teams should give you hope each season. I’m happy with how things ended with football but we still had more questions than hope. Good thing we had baseball, softball, and all the other great sports…but we need the big two two to step up!
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
Well I'm back in the OC since 2007
that didn’t seem to help much…
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
I'm outside Philly, but I'll be in NY
Wouldn’t miss this. Too bad Kareem can’t come “home” for the NY presentation.
I’d really love to be in Orange County to see Dave Meyers, who as far as I know hasn’t surfaced since he left the Bucks in the 1970s. Not to mention his amazing sister, who’s still looked on as one of the true pioneers in her sport.
I plan on going
to the Orange County event, unless I’m in NY the week they’re there.
But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
Hey David Meyers graduated in 75 or so right
No way it was 80. He was playing for the Bucs then.
He helped with winning the '73 & '75 championships
He is a school teacher and very proud of it, he said at alumni day talking about Coach Wooden
DC and Bay Area
A bit confusing.
The Bay Area page shows “Thursday, October 7, 2010 Check back this fall for more event and registration details!” This is the same day as the Masterpiece event scheduled for San Diego. The Future Events page shows the May 12, 2011 date that Freesia cites above.
The DC page shows: “Wednesday, March 9, 2011 Check back this fall…” On the Future Events page, this date shows as “Panel focus to be announced,” not “Make Each Day a Masterpiece.”
It seems that something, but not Make Each Day a Masterpiece, is happening in the Bay Area on 10/7/2010 and in DC on 3/9/2011.

As seen from the crowd, the last two minutes of UCLA vs. Arizona. Hopefully gives those who were not able to attend an idea of what it was like inside "Old" Pauley for the last time.](http://cdn2.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/180811/0_small.jpg)
