K-State Experience

While games are played on the field under various weather conditions, rolled-up seasonal data can give an impression for expectations of players, notwithstanding maturity, transfers and cohesion of the team and new assistant coaches. Following the jump are some statistical tidbits concerning the '10 K-State team

Here is the K-State '10 roster listed with S (starter) or 2 (2nd String) status, with any statistical info applicable to '09:

Offense:
LT - Hanson 2 (2 in '09)
LG - Kendall S (S in '09)
C - Weibert S (S in '09), Viers 2 (2 in '09)

RG - Mayfield S (S in '09), Freeze 2 (2 in ’09)

RT – Douglas or Aufner (same status in ’09)

 

WR – No experienced receivers

FL – Smith 2 (3 catches for 27 yds in ’09)

X – No experience

TE – Tannahill 2 (2 catches for 37 yds in ’09)

 

RB – Thomas S (S in ’09 = 105.4 YPG -Rush/21.4 YPG - Rec/11 TDs season)

FB – Wilson S (S in ’09 = 0.07 YPG/0 TDs season), Hamm 2 (2 in ’09)

 

QB – Coffman S (2 in ’09 = 6 games/71-117-4/4TDs/143.3 YPG-Pass/10 YPG-Rush)

~ TE with limited back-up experience
