Well, we need some laughs to shake off the effects of the last two weekends.
In case you missed it, Jay Leno managed to reference the BP oil spill, Kim Kardashian, OJ and Vince Young while joking about the Bu$h-Heisman machinations during a few of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC) stand-up routines.
Oh, and it looks like ucla7477 might be busy translating the latest denial from Bu$h that giving up the Heisman was some sort of admission of guilt:
"It's definitely not an admission of guilt. It's just me showing my respect to the Heisman Trophy itself, and to the people who come before me and the people who come after me . . . You are going to keep hearing the same thing, because that's what it is. It's not an admission of guilt. It's just me feeling like this is the best thing for me and for the Heisman Trust right now."
Though he's not admitting guilt, he admits to mistakes he made.
While not admitting to anything in the report, Bush has said he regrets that his actions in some way led to sanctions against USC and caused controversy around his title of Heisman winner.
"I'm not happy this happened. This is where it has come to," Bush said. "This is just a part of life. This is a part of growing pains and becoming more mature. You learn. You grow. You get better. You get stronger and hopefully you never make those same mistakes again."
Yeah...right. You made mistakes but aren't guilty of anything. I see a future political position in his future. Cheat Oh!
