I guess you can leave *$c for the NFL (errr....split town for a cash grab and to avoid impending sanctions) but you can't leave the double standards behind, eh Cheatey? With 3 minutes in the game, and Denver comfortably sitting on a 17 point lead and running out the clock, guess who used his last two timeouts to stop the clock?
Just competing, I guess? Setting up that last minute touchdown and critical 11-point conversion?
The stadium showered Cheatey with boos. If only the other Broncos fans knew the hypocrisy behind this, they would have joined my screams for Hoodie Jr to go deep on the next play. But Joshie played it coolly, professionally, and classy and just kept running out the clock.
To his credit, Pete did succeed in getting the ball back to his offense with just enough time to throw one final interception. Final score: Denver 31, Seattle 14.
It's not so easy when players on BOTH sides of the line of scrimmage are getting paid, is it Cheatey?
