PrintYahoo Sports says that bu$h is about to be de-Heismaned:
The Heisman Trophy Trust is expected to strip former University of Southern California star running back Reggie Bush of college football’s top honor by the end of September, sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Bush would become the first player in the 75-year history of the award to have the trophy taken away. The NCAA found major violations in the Trojans’ football program in June and levied serious sanctions against the school.
This story was reported by Charles Robinson and Jason Cole.
I think I'll write to these guys and let them know there is still at least one story still incomplete - the McSUV situation.

They are saying Heisman trophy doesn’t mean much and that it is just a popularity contest. It’s funny they say whatever that fits their agenda for the day. A bunch of cheating idiots.

I'm surprised they are acting this soon.
I thought they were going to wait for the appeals process to wind down.
Regardless, Congratulations go out to the U of Sanctioned Cheaters, for being the first and only school to be stripped of a Heisman. No one succeeds at failure like you guys.

Update: ESPN is reporting that Yahoo spoke too soon.
“I can tell you the Heisman Trophy trust has made no decision regarding the Reggie Bush situation,” Robert Whalen, executive director of the Heisman Trophy Trust, told The Associated Press on Tuesday.
