UH QB Case Keenum granted sixth year
"University of Houston quarterback Case Keenum has been granted a sixth season of eligibility after being injured last season, according to several media reports. Keenum tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in a game at UCLA during the third week of last season. Keenum is fith on the FBS career passing yardage list with 13,586 yards -- about 3,500 behind the all-time record held by Hawaii's Timmy Chang." UH fans are already whispering about an undefeated season. UCLA opens its season in Houston on September 9. I'm sure our DC isn't happy about game-planning for such a potent offense with Keenum back. Oh wait, what DC?
