In a weird turn of events, UCLA somehow determined to be #34 in the world while U$C comes in at #107. It's all about how/what you count. USNRW's national rankings are seriously flawed.

Isn't it funny when you compare the methodologies for the two USNWR rankings

Here is the methodology for the National Rankings.

Here is the methodology for the Worldwide Rankings

Interesting how the National Rankings only weigh Academic Reputation as 22.5% compared to 40% for the Worldwide Rankings. Also notice how the popular National rankings include weighing factors such as Alumni Giving Rate, Financial Resources and Faculty Salary…

I wonder why so many elite public universities are upset with that [bogus] National Ranking system… hmmmm…
