San Jose State is in the midst of one of the more impressive turnarounds in the NCAA this season. Last year the Spartans posted a 1-12 record. So far this season, the Spartans are 3-4, tripling their win total from a year ago.

Wouldn't they be infinitely better?
But what about the team that goes undefeated and then loses a game the next year – infinitely worse.
Is this supposed to make me feel better about UCLA football?
Because it hasn’t.
