2 UCLA basketball players injured in practice (C'mon! Can't we ever start the season cleanly?!!)

LOS ANGELES (AP)—UCLA sophomore center Anthony Stover and junior guard De’End Parker both sustained concussions in preseason basketball practice. A team spokesman said Monday that Stover was hurt during a drill in practice a week ago, while Parker was hurt during Saturday’s intrasquad scrimmage when a teammate inadvertently elbowed him in the head. Stover is expected to return to practice this week, while Parker will miss the rest of the week and is being monitored daily. Follow Yahoo! Sports' college basketball coverage on Twitter.
