Over the weekend, Kyle Anderson led the Playaz Club Seniors to the iS8/Nike Fall Tip-Off Classic championship in New York over the weekend, picking up MVP and Player of the Year honors for the second time, tying Ron Artest (err Metta World Peace.) This is Anderson's third straight iS8 title and had a big game, with 22 points, 12 boards, and 12 assists.
You have to love Anderson's mentality, as he broke the game open in the second half with a few big assists.
"If it takes an assist to win or a shot, whatever it takes to win," he said.
Hopefully added to that list: Ben Ball Defense!
Of UCLA interest is Tony Parker, who flew up to New York to join Anderson on the team. He also had a good game, with 20 points. Parker was a huge add for the Playaz:
The addition of Parker was a significant one. The 6-foot-8 wide body, who has known Anderson and his father for years through competition on the AAU circuit, expressed an interest in joining them at iS8 and had a blast.
I hope that Parker realizes it would be a blast to join Anderson in Westwood next fall, waiting for Anderson's passes as he finishes near the basket.

Kyle Anderson is #5, in Red.
Tony Parker is #10, in Red, and wearing the neon yellow shoes. After our fashion choices last season, Tony Parker would definitely fit in in Westwood.
Congratulations Anderson and Parker on the win. Anderson will play again in the spring in this tournament, and we all can't wait to see how he looks then.
