Guess they figured we play Texas better in their home state?

I don't see how games like this help this program

At least in a home-and-home, you get a home game.

Playing Texas in their home state when the huge majority of the crowd will be wearing orange accomplishes what exactly?

Yes, not a good move for us,

other than the players get a chance in that stadium and the Bruins in Texas get to go to the game.

Silver Lining?

It will give Mike Leach a chance to showcase our program in Texas an recruit there.

I like the way you think

And will be completely fine with this game if that opportunity presents itself.

We were so fired up for that game anyway

It would have been cool just to keep that game on schedule and have two other D-1 teams at home and that’s it. This kind of money grab is just so short sighted.

it would be less annoying if it weren't giving Texas basically a home game for free.

pretty simple formula: one BCS team at home, one BCS team on the road, one cupcake at home. no reason to ever be less than 2-1 in OOC games.

I effing knew it

When that email came out, I thought “This better be a damn east coast team, they wouldn’t be so dumb as to schedule Texas there, would they”? Sigh.

My high school alma mater Notre Dame HS of Sherman Oaks, played there in 2009, what’s the big whup? I hope DG keeps his eyes open so he can see what a first class facility looks like.

I hope DG keeps his eyes open

so he can watch the game on his own HDTV from near his job in Indianapolis or wherever he is by then.

Roses are red, violets are blue...f*** $C.
