Dear Chancellor Block:
I am appalled at the continued train wreck that is UCLA football. It is an EMBARRASSMENT to the university that was first to 100 national championships. If you knew F-all about football, you would see that this team is incompetent in every single aspect of the game -- offense, defense, special teams and all-around discipline -- despite having recruited some of the best athletes out of high school. No coach in any sport at any level has achieved less with more talent.
There was no excuse for the Arizona blowout. No excuse for the Utah fiasco. No excuse for the past decade of mediocrity and failure.UCLA should not be mediocre in ANYTHING.
Rick Neuheisel should be fired today, not at the end of the season. At the very least, you owe competent coaching to the athletes who trusted UCLA with their futures.
Dan Guerrero should go with him. He has hired not one but two failed football coaches while rejecting coaches who have gone on to great success at other universities. His appalling handling of the women's basketball team -- allowing the NCAA to make UCLA play Gonzaga on Gonzaga's home court in the tournament -- helped lead to the departure of one of the top women's college basketball coaches.* Dan Guerreo and his minions LIED OUTRIGHT to the UCLA community regarding student seating at Pauley Pavilion.
Dan Guerrero the highest paid athletic director in the Pac-12? He and that whole arrogant, dishonest, incompetent crew of losers at Morgan Center (and you'd better believe JD is spinning in his grave) should be told to clean out their desks. They are not worthy to walk through the doors of a building with that name.
It's not as if any of these guys has tenure. So do your g*dd*mn job. And yeah, I'll apologize for being rude after you apologize to the UCLA community for Dan Guerrero and Rick Neuheisel.
Sincerely,
Seth Chandler
