"Porter said he suspended Nelson for 'quite a few games' during his high school career for conduct that included yelling at teammates and kicking a chair during a game." Talented and hardworking or not, why would UCLA recruit a player with such obvious issues? I'd like to see him overcome his issues and succeed, but the fact is UCLA's coaches should never feel the need to bring in problem players to succeed.
