Congrats to these Bruins and to the entire squad for all their efforts during an up and down season for U.C.L.A. Football. Here's to more ups for the team at the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl and moving forward.

interesting choices
I thought Derrick Coleman hands down was the offensive MVP of this team. Defensively I would have gone with Andrew Abbott.
Tough to not give the offensive award to a 1000+ yard receiver.
First time since Bragg.
I wouldn’t have given a Defensive MVP Award at all, personally. But I’d probably lean towards Abbot. I think Larimore won it in the title game with the pick-6. I thought he underachieved more than any other LB this year, but that’s just the way I saw it.

I'd give it to Tevan McDonald
His production compared to his playing time was amazing.
Offensively, I don’t think Rosario was the best option due to his lack of intensity. He could have had maybe half again as many yards had he put out on every play.
Teams really picked on McDonald this year.
He played his ass off, no doubt. And delivered some big time plays. But he was a big reason why our D was so bad on 3rd down. Partially scheme, but he was just a step late to converge on the receiver on 3rd downs.
Granted, he’d be in my top 3 of Defensive MVP choices on this team (not saying a ton); but I completely understand why he was overlooked here.
