WATCH Mora Media Appearances: The "Opportunity is NOW for UCLA"

Coach Jim Mora has been making some media appearances talking up the program and the great opportunity he has gotten at UCLA in recent days. Wanted to pass on to you all couple of interesting appearances. Here was Mora on the radio show with CBS's Tim Brando:

It was good to hear Mora not backing away at all when Brando mentioned how the "opportunity" for Mora and UCLA to make a move in the Pac-12 is "now."

Also, Mora appeared on KCBS with Jim Hill and John Ireland:

The appearance is mostly a love fest. Kind of hilarious to see Jim Hill getting his notes all confused mixing up Mora's comments on UCLA being a "sleeping giant" (using the phrase "diamond in the rough"). Hill also put up a graphic about Mora being 7-9 in Seattle when his record was 5-11.

But the fluff is fine with us because it helps recruiting. The important take away is though is Mora talking up the "commitment" he has received from Dan Guerrero and UCLA administration. We will see how that plays in the near term. If we don't see Mora getting necessary support from UCLA right away, it will only intensify the calls for finishing up the wholesale regime change in Westwood.

GO BRUINS.
