Around SBN: 7 Important Questions About The Heat Vs. Celtics Series

Bryce Treggs, the #1 WR in California and a Cal commit who is rumored to be considering UCLA now with Adrian Klemm leading his recruitment, tweeted this today:

"This guy @JDior_ is really recruiting like no other this weekend."

@JDior_ is Justin Combs, a Bruin commit who is clearly trying to bolster that UCLA recruiting class. Keep it going, Justin.

Treggs is a great potential signing

He a bit short, but a real playmaker that we haven’t seen a lot of in Westwood. Scout say he is the most disciplined player in his class and could be an elite DB if needed. I think he would fit well in Mazzone’s offense. Not coincidentally, his three official visits were Cal, Notre Dame and Arizona St. Sounds like we have a chance.

Combs may be the right guy to help ensure a positive culture at UCLA.

Treggs is going to Cal.

Dad went to Cal, and he’s been reppin’ Cal hard for a long time.

There’s some concern that he’s trying to persuade UCLA recruits to go to Cal while visiting UCLA.

Treggs

Isn’t this the guy who basically was laughing at us on Twitter after the Debacle in the Desert? I’m not one to hold grudges (we need all the talent we can get), but it’s not too smart to negatively tweet about a school that is recruiting you. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Yes, that's the guy.

Mysteriously quiet after the UCLA-Cal game.

If I wasn't fuming

I’d have been laughing at us too. We basically asked to be laughed at.

Two roads diverged in a wood and I – I tweeted my followers to ask which I should take

Sorry

but we deserved to be laughed at after the Debacle in the Desert. I hate to say it but it’s true. Can’t be walking around hurt feelings. Sadly it was the catalyst that got so many Bruins sitting on the fence to come off and officially start calling for Regime Change. The fact that he’s now reconsidering is huge.

Which makes me wonder…what if C Mora has seen what we have seen (sleeping giant) and had his plans in the works for while. He sees his opening and takes it, cuz right now it appears a lot of things are falling into place for him

It was probably part of Mora's proposal...

during the interview process.

I’m certainly glad he has executed it so far!

Hopefully Combs’ efforts will pay off on signing day.
