This was undoubtedly the night of Malcolm Lee. I could have filled this post with pictures of ML-- offense, defense, you name it, he was on tonight, scoring 25pts in 39min of play. Really, it was a good night for the guards -- they racked up 45 of our 64 tonight, and it was a good night for them to step up. Joshua Smith was handcuffed by questionable officiating, scoring only 5 on 14 min coming off his back to back great games against U$C and St. John's. Reeves added 9, and Tyler Honeycutt, while a force on the boards, pulling down 13, was quiet offensively, scoring 5. On to the pictures!

Malcolm Lee on the transition dunk. More after the jump!

Zeke had a pretty good night running the point. Like most of the rest of the Bruins, he had a nasty turnover or two, but overall, did well. He scored 10 with 6 assists on 33 min.

This is the kind of crap that didn't get called (I don't remember whether this one was or not, but things like this went uncalled, and it probably would have meant getting to their bench way earlier if they had been)

This is actually a Stover block. I know, it looks like he whiffed on it, but he's actually winding up to hit it toward the rim. Risky? Sure, but since he pulled it off? BEAST.

Reeves played really well on D, and put up with some frustrating no-calls on O. Definitely not the petulant Reeves of yesterday, he really shines in these grind-it-out games.

Jerime Anderson....where to start? In the last few games, we've watched JA turn into a serious threat at the PG, refine his ball-handling skills, his finish moves, and even show some outside shooting threat. Remember those flashes of brilliance that made him such a frustrating player to watch last year? He's been building on them, making them more consistent, and spending a lot of time now in the "flashes" form from last year-- he put up double figures tonight off the bench. I can't wait to see how much more he'll improve this season.
