Photos from UCLA vs. St. John's (or vs. the Lizard)

Bumped. -BN

For those of you that didn't see this game one way or another, it was a very dirty game. As you'll see in one of the pictures in the slideshow, St John's racked up seven fouls in six minutes to start the second half, putting us in the bonus/double-bonus for most of the half. The refs still seem to have a vendetta against JS, but for the second game in a row, he has overcome it and had a great game _despite_ the shady officiating, instead of a crap game because of it. Reeves dominated the boards from about ten minutes in through the rest of the game, and we never really let them back in, despite a late-second-half mini-slump. It was a fairly close game throughout, and if anything, we pulled away at the end (due in large part to their flagrant and numerous fouls). Anyway, you didn't click this to hear me talk- on to the pictures! (as usual, click for big, full gallery link is below each)

(I didn't want to start off with a JS dunk two games in a row, but he was such a presence inside that I couldn't snub him like that after the game he had.)

One of a few monster JS dunks in the first ten minutes to set the tone early. More after the jump!

JS on defense, taking an (uncalled, of course) charge. Note the player pushing down on Joshua's chest to get extra height for his shot.

JS and JA attempt to save a steal. The ball took a funny hop and bounced out off of JA, but it was a good effort and an epic picture.

This picture is not of my normal quality, but I had to include it. This is Malcolm Lee's epic behind-the-back, off-balance layup (of course, it went in). Definitely a shot to behold.
