Nothing wrong with wanting to play for your Dad, it worked out pretty well for Bryce Drew and Valpo in the 1990’s.

No, there's nothing wrong with wanting to play for your dad, but ...

it’s up to the dad to make sure that the child makes the decision best for the child, not for the parent.

What I find disturbing about this situation is that the kid’s signing a letter of intent seemed a prerequisite to the extension of the father’s contract. “Sign me and I’ll deliver my kid” does not seem to me to be the right thing to do.

It obviously is not, but is sounds like a violation. Give a kids father more money so you go to a certain school.

Ray McCallum's team also struggled a bit

Detroit Tigers are 17-16 this season, 10-8 in conference and 5th place in the conference.

As for Trey, he’d have to accept a bench role behind Lee and possibly Lamb. We’ve seen how players are all about getting into the spotlight these days…

Well...

he’s playing in the MAC for Central Michigan…I don’t think he’s looking for the spotlight…

But hey, what do I know. I’m just the 800 lbs bruin in the room.
